Modbus configuration

Modbus configuration is made directly on the panel, using the graphic interface.

 

Default settings:

MODBUS SLAVE ID 10
BAUDRATE 115200
PARITY NONE
STOP BITS 1

 

Configuration of Modbus parameters:

Press and hold down the button labeled "CONFIG BUTTON" on the back of the device for about 10 seconds.

The device must be in normal operation (powered on, displaying the user interface).

An alarm will sound when the Modbus configuration menu is displayed. It can be muted by pressing any button, e.g. up arrow.

Navigation:

  • parameter selection - up / down arrows
  • parameter change - right / left arrows

 

Function buttons at the bottom of the screen:

BACK  exiting the configuration menu WITHOUT SAVING THEM
DEFAULTS  load the default settings WITHOUT SAVING THEM
RESTART  "soft" (software) device restart
SAVE  save changes

In the upper part of the window, information about:

SW  the current version of the panel firmware
HW  the hardware version of the panel
BL  version of the firmware update module

ATTENTION:

  • This information is useful when contacting technical support.
  • This information is also available via Modbus. They are in the diagnostic space.

 

There are settings at the bottom of the screen:

ATTENTION:

  • The changes do not require a device reset.
  • Changes are not saved automatically. Save them using the "SAVE" button. After saving, a confirmation message is displayed.
