Installation requirements

The device is designed for flush mounting, in single or double deepened boxes.

For stability and ease of installation, double boxes are recommended.

ATTENTION!

THE CP20 PANEL IS A PRECISE DEVICE.
BEFORE INSTALLATION, PLEASE READ THE GUIDELINES.
THE PANEL SHOULD NOT BE INSTALLED BEFORE COMPLETION OF CONSTRUCTION WORK.

DAMAGES CAUSED BY INSTALLATION DEFECTS OR NEGATIVE EFFECT OF CONSTRUCTION CONDITIONS ARE NOT COVERED BY THE WARRANTY!

When installing, pay special attention to:

  • mounting base stability:
    • the mounting base must not be damaged and / or distorted
    • the mounting base should be mounted on a hard, flat surface
    • it is recommended to screw the mounting base to the mounting surface in at least 4 points
    • for best results, screw the mounting base to the mounting surface in four corners
  • selecting appropriate screws for fixing the mounting base:
    • screw heads must be as small (flat) as possible, they must not protrude significantly from the surface of the mounting base
    • too high heads cause the panel casing to bend, which in addition to a bad visual effect may cause mechanical damage to the panel
    • after placing the panel on the mounting base, the panel should adhere to the mounting surface, without pressing it down
  • selection of appropriate cable allowances:
    • the panel is equipped with detachable connection terminals; This allows for easy installation without the need to leave large reserves of cable
    • too much wire or bad wiring in the box may cause the panel to be pushed out of the box; this causes the panel casing to bend, which, apart from a bad visual effect, may cause mechanical damage to the panel
  • avoid excessive bending of the panel
in particular, when connecting and disconnecting terminals, do not hold the panel by its top and bottom edges when connecting or disconnecting terminals; hold the front of the panel with your full hand and connect the terminals carefully; when detaching, you can pry them off with a small, flat screwdriver

The location of the mounting points and the technical data for mounting can be found in the documents:

  • 4AT-CP20-MBR_product_card

ATTENTION!

To ensure the best conditions for measuring temperature, humidity and air quality (eCO2, TVOC), no air may be blown through the mounting box.
If the cables are connected to the conduit box, seal this place with e.g. foam or putty.
Mounting boxes in non-brick walls should be isolated from the inside of the wall.

The panel is locked after being mounted on the mounting base with two screws with a Torx socket (T6).
